Hello!!♥

How are you doing? I’ve been pretty good but also busy. Since I started my YouTube channel again, making videos has been quite time-consuming. Although the second one didn’t take me as long to edit and record as the first, between the script, B-roll, actual video recording, and editing, it still added up to around five full workdays.

I really need to improve my time management; otherwise, I won’t have time for other projects. But I guess it’s natural to need more time at first.

As for the video, it’s all about the iPad I just bought! The Pro M4 with the nanotextured screen. In the video, I go into more detail about it and why I bought it, but so far, as a TL;DR, it’s been amazing! :)

Also, I got the smaller one, so FINALLY, I can use it for other things, the 13” was too big for my taste. But those things are hard to know until you actually put them to good use.

As for this month’s wallpaper, you can download it from my store. I’ve been watching Chihiro again, and since I’m practicing drawing characters, I had to give it a try. At first, I only wanted to draw No-Face, but I decided to add Chihiro too, even though it took me longer than I expected.

As you can see, it took me several tries. I usually start with a rough sketch, then make a new layer and refine it; resizing, moving things around, rotating them… Once the second sketch is ready, I do the final one over it.

The legs looked comically short in the first drafts, I still have a lot to improve!

✿ My Japanese learning journey

I finished all the words from the Kaishi 1.5 Anki deck, and now I’m starting to add more vocabulary from the N4 books I’m using and other sources like NHK Easy News. Obviously, I don’t add every word I don’t know (that would be too time-consuming) just the ones I feel I need to learn.

I’ve been pretty strict with my studies and haven’t skipped a single day. But sometimes, I feel like I should be doing more. I know it’s a slow journey, but I can’t seem to shake this feeling of “not doing enough.” I don’t stress about it, but it’s always there.

This month I'll finish the 新日本語500問 (N4-N5), I love it!! it contains lots of questions regarding kanji, vocabulary and grammar, with the solutions and explanations. The only down side is that you need a N4 level, because the question are mixed, so even though I tried to use it during my N5 exam... it was too difficult back then.
