This week has been a bit weird, the holidays during mid week in Spain made everything slower. I spent those days trying to renew my workspace. I changed some things a little bit, but it stayed practically the same because it was already the best possible distribution. Although I keep wanting more light for the foggy days, because there's barely any to record videos. I'm sure I'll came up with an idea!

Also, I'm having problems uploading videos to Instagram. On the iPhone, you can edit the video adjustments, but this time, the changes won't show up on Instagram. I don't have that problem with either TikTok or YouTube, so I'm guessing they screwed up something on the app... In case you have the same problem, it's not just you.
My solution is to send the edited video from the phone to the computer and back again; the changes will be permanent, and this time it will upload with the edits.

This week I kept drawing more frogs; it wasn't a very prolific week, so I tried to keep drawing what made me happy at the time.

Where I buy my art tools

I get this question pretty often, and I know the answer is not useful for most of you who live overseas, but I cannot recommend any other place since I always shop at the same art stores. I always buy them locally at two shops in Barcelona; they are affordable and have a nice range of things.

✿ Things worth sharing

This week, I have found these interesting things:

Finally, I've decided to varnish the piece of wood that I bought a while ago as my headboard. So, I've read that after sanding it, you can do the last bit using the paper tube inside the paper roll, it's like giving a very fine sanding. And guess what! It worked! :) Now, I can recycle the ten rolls I've been saving for the occasion.
Maybe I'm late to this, but if you own a duvet, there are pins that will help you fix the corners of the cover and the duvet so they don't move. They are mushroom-shaped, super cute and useful, like these ones: https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005004078017297.html
I've found a nice hand cream for my super dry winter hands; it's the CeraVe Reparative hand cream. So far, it's been amazing; I use it throughout the day and my hands have not dried out in these two weeks. By this time of year, they used to be awfully dry.

✿ Tips and tricks

I have recently switched to regular pencil colours for sketching, the Salmon Polychromos, to be exact. Under artificial lighting, my trusted sketching pencil, the Pilot Color Eno, reflects slightly, making it difficult for the eyes to look at the drawing while recording a Reel. So, I have decided to switch to a pencil with a matte finish. I have to be careful, though, because the pencils are harder to erase.

You may be asking why I don't use a regular pencil. Well, if you have ever tried markers, you know that since they are made with alcohol, if the ink touches a dark color, it creates some ugly smudges. Using a light pencil tone solves that issue, and Color Eno leads happen to be erasable. That's why I always used them.
